More than 25,816 Line-of-Duty Deaths have occurred over the last 150+ years. This means that over 25,000 men and women have paid the ultimate sacrifice in order to ensure the Thin Blue Line between order and chaos remains intact. Take a moment to let that number sink in.

co-workers, spouses, and best friends have died keeping their families, friends, and fellow Tennesseans safe. We owe it to them to their memory alive and we here at Middle & East Tennessee C.O.P.S. vow to do our best to do so not only through this memorial on our website, but through our service to you - the sons, daughters, fathers, mothers, co-workers, spouses, and best friends of the heroes that died ensuring that Thin Blue Line remained.
