C.O.P.S. Spouses Retreat
C.O.P.S. Spouses Retreat is planned for surviving spouses of law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty, as determined by C.O.P.S. criteria.
C.O.P.S. Spouses Retreat provides a comfortable, safe place to unwind in a stress-free environment. It is here that you will meet licensed mental health professionals that can provide the tools needed to manage your grief every day in your future, they will facilitate various sessions that are designed to meet your needs, and even offer private one-on-one counseling if requested.
What to Expect
After losing their spouse to a line-of-duty death, surviving spouses can be faced with difficulties such as altered life plans, raising children, and/or learning to live alone. At C.O.P.S. Spouses Retreat, you will spend the weekend bonding and receiving support from other peers who genuinely know how you feel.
